Does anyone know if you can elevate the head of a twin bed without using boards? |
Asker: dgt1978@verizon.net | | Date: 2006-07-31 17:18:58 My bed has no headboard just the frame. My lung doctor recommended that I elevate the head of my bed because of my asthma and acid reflux. But I cannot find anyone who has boards.I will try anything. |

The best way to elevate your bed is to put the feet on cinder blocks. 6-8 inches is considered the perfect height for elevating your head. |

The only problem I have with this is the bed accidently being moved and the block under one leg shifting and causing the bed to tilt suddenly. Pillows or a wedge UNDER the mattress should help. Go to a lumber yard and see if they could help you devise a wood wedge system to go under the head of your mattress. If they can’t do it, they should be able to lead you to someone who can. |
